The Primary Edition Starters Basic Deck A and Basic Deck B were composed of 50 Very Common and Common cards (plus 5 random Uncommons). This sheet depicts the two starters contents with Basic Deck A in the left 5 columns and Basic Deck B the right 5 columns. The first 3 rows are cards which appear in both starters. In this layout the sheet could be cut in half then each half cut and packaged into each starter.

There is some discrepency over which cards were considered Very Commmon. The original card lists by Companion Games said that the E2 Nuclear Mine was a VC, but it doesn't always show up in Basic Deck A. Another list says the M3 Shield Fiend is VC, but I haven't found that in Basic Deck A either. In fact, quite a few Basic Deck A's that I opened only had 49 Common and VC cards and 6 Uncommons. However in one starter I found the misprinted R/E2 Transporer - Nuclear Mine and 5 Uncommons. This leads me to believe that the Nuclear Mine was intended to be VC, but the copy on the Basic Deck A part of the sheet had the incorrect title. When they found the error they decided to just pull and destroy the card, resulting in some Starters having 50 C/VC including the misprint and some having 49 and an extra Uncommon card.

Note that the depicted Print Sheets are just example layouts. I don't know what the actual card layout of these sheets were. In fact, the actual layout was likely more randomized to make it easier to pack boosters.
